Raped by marrying a Dalit woman on a consent letter: kept together like a wife for 8 months, then left after beating

In the Kotwali police station area of Dholpur, a case of raping a Dalit woman after marrying her on a consent letter has come to light. The accused left the woman after raping her for 8 months. On this, the woman has filed a criminal case in the SC-ST court under various serious sections including rape, cheating.
In the case filed in the SC-ST court, the 31-year-old Dalit victim told that she was married in the year 2007 in Karauli district. After marriage, her husband used to beat her under the influence of alcohol. Disturbed by her husband’s assault, she left her husband in 2014 and came to her mother in Dholpur. The victim told that her mother used to go to cook food for the police staff on wages, then she also used to help him. There his acquaintance Sunil Dutt Sharma (41) son Ramdayal Sharma used to come to the village Bai Halena (Bharatpur) near the guard of RAC there. During this he met Sunil Dutt Sharma.
The woman told that when accused Sunil Dutt Sharma proposed marriage in front of her one day, he gave her approval for marriage on the consent letter. After this, he started keeping the victim as his wife and had physical relations with her. During this, the accused took the victim to his village and other places apart from Dholpur. The woman told that in April 2022, the accused assaulted her and left her. CO City Pravendra Mahla said that the victim, who was a victim of fraud, has filed a criminal case in the SC-ST court for rape and under the SC-ST Act. Action will be taken against the accused after investigating the matter.
