In Chhatarpur district, the matter of feudalism and coercion has come to the fore. In Ama village of Harpalpur police station area of ​​the district, due to old enmity and lack of respect, the rioters have wreaked havoc on the Harijans. The incident took place late Thursday evening, where a Dalit family was thrashed with sticks and injured after entering the house in Harijan Basti area of ​​the village. More than half a dozen people were injured in the incident of assault. Women and children are also among the injured. Those who have suffered serious injuries to their hands and feet.

There is an atmosphere of panic in the village due to the incident of public assault. It is alleged that the gangsters have beaten up the people of Harijan Basti as well as misbehaved with the women. At the same time, the police has registered a case under various sections and along with the investigation of the case, has started the search for the accused.

According to
the information, Dayaram Ahirwar, a resident of Aman village, told in the report that I and Bindiya Bai, Pooja Ahirwar, Saroj Ahirwar, Pushpendra Ahirwar, Govind Ahirwar, Sungandh Ahirwar, Deepchandra Ahirwar, Brijendra Ahirwar were in their house. Then late in the evening around 7-8 pm, the domineering people of the village came with sticks and sticks in their hands and started abusing the old enmity, when they opposed it, they beat them up.

Said that when we come or pass in your locality, then you people sit on beds and chairs and do not give respect by bowing down, while this tradition has been going on for years and now you are breaking it and that’s it. He gave an answer regarding the matter, in which there was a Tu-Tu-Main-I and there was a dispute. Where then he came armed with sticks and rods and entered the house, doing an orgy of terror, fiercely beat everyone including children, women, men. 

The accused entered the house and misbehaved with the women and beat them and the children too, in which half a dozen people were injured. Hearing the screams, the villagers intervened and saved, after which she reached the Harpalpur police station along with the village sarpanch and lodged a complaint.

In the case registered 
in the police station, the Harpalpur police station has filed a complaint against the accused under sections 452, 323, 294, 506, 34 and sections 3(1)d, 3(1)d, 3(2)(va) of the SCST Act. While registering a case under ) investigation and search for the accused has started.
