Constable arrested for raping Dalit girl, sent to jail

Kasganj. Police constable of PAC, who raped a Dalit girl on the pretext of marriage, has been arrested by the Kotwali police and sent to jail. The Sadar Kotwali police had registered this case on the orders of the court. The CO examined the matter. This constable is posted in 45th Corps PAC Aligarh.
The girl told that due to miscall, PAC constable Mukesh resident village Paundri came in contact with her. After that we started talking on the phone. The constable reached the girl’s house in November last year. The constable raped the girl on the promise of marriage. When the girl started pressurizing for marriage, the constable started avoiding. The girl complained about the matter to the then Superintendent of Police on December 20. On the complaint, the relatives of both the accused and the girl were called and on the consent of both the parties, they got married wearing a garland, but the constable did not take her with him.
After this, the constable again reached the girl on March 17. Tried to rape the girl, to which the girl resisted. The girl and the constable belong to different castes. The girl says that the constable made an excuse for being a different caste and gave casteist abuses. The case was registered on the orders of Special Judge SC ST Act. The constable is arrested by the police and jailed.
PAC constable Mukesh has been arrested by Inspector Siddharth Tomar and team of Sadar Kotwali police. Action has been taken to send the accused to jail- Deep Kumar Pant, CO City.
