Bilaspur: First asked caste, then beaten by tying it to a pillar, robbed the bike
Victims demanded imposition of Atrocity Act in SP’s public darshan

Bilaspur (Representative of New Zealand). Five days ago in Sipat area, two youths were accused of theft and tied to a pole and beaten up. After its video went viral in the internet media, the police arrested five people and sent them to jail in the case of attempt to murder. At the same time, on Tuesday, the victims have accused SP Pasral Mathur of robbing a bike in Jandarshan and beating him by asking caste. On this, the SP has directed the Sipat police station in-charge to take action in the matter.
On Tuesday, SP Pasral Mathur heard the complaints of the people in his office. During this, Rajkumar and his friend told that on the night of August 18, their bike was damaged in Dangnia of Sipat area. Meanwhile, some people of the village caught him and accused him of theft. After this, asking caste, he tied him to a pillar and beat him up. After the beating, they also snatched the victim’s bike. The victims demanded to get their bikes back and to register a case under the Atrocity Act.
On this, SP Pasral Mathur has directed Sipat police station in-charge to get the victim’s bike, add Atrocity Act in the case and identify and arrest the absconding accused. Apart from this, 16 people put their problem in front of the SP. Most of these cases were related to family dispute and demand to arrest the absconding accused. The SP has directed the concerned station in-charge to take action in the matter.
Complaint of recovery in the name of employing police
During the public darshan, two youths have complained of cheating of four lakhs in the name of getting jobs in the police. Victims Mahesh Kashyap and Akhilesh Yadav told the SP that Dinesh Chandra had taken Rs 4 lakh from them in the name of getting a job in the police. At the same time, Ashish Mathur, a resident of Talapara, has complained against Sushil Patre for taking money in the name of getting a job. On this, SP Pasral Mathur has directed the civil line station in-charge to investigate the matter and register a crime.
