On the basis of Tahrir, the Mavli police station registered a case under the sections of kidnapping and handed over the investigation of the missing girl to ASI Chhaganlal of the police station, but the police could not find the daughter a few steps away from the victim’s house. The daughter’s father went round the police in search of the daughter for four days, but the police station kept taking the kidnapping of the daughter lightly. The reason for the negligence of the Mavli police station is that a 9-year-old innocent fell victim to the lust of a savage. At present, Rajasthan Police has launched ‘Operation Muskaan’ to search for missing minors in Rajasthan, but it failed to find the minor daughter a few steps away from Mavli police station house in Udaipur.
