According to the information, this entire matter is from Datia of Madhya Pradesh. In this case, government lawyer D.K. Pambani told that Mahendra Gautam, a resident of Morera, was checking the wires of the house from the government transformer installed near his house at 6 pm on 16 April 2020. At the same time, an accused named Ballu Yadav came there along with his associates. When Mahendra asked them about the wires being pulled, the accused used caste based abuses and beat Mahendra Gautam mercilessly with sticks and plates due to which the victim (Mahendra Gautam) suffered many injuries on his body.
Imprisonment and fine for the accused:
After the incident, Mahendra Gautam along with his mother Gayatri reached Sinawal police station in injured condition and lodged a report against the accused. Police registered the case and submitted the chargesheet in the court. After hearing the statements of both the parties, the court considered Akash, Phool Singh and Ram Singh as accused and sentenced them to 1 year imprisonment and a fine of Rs 1500-1500 under different sections.
